The Edelrid Swift Protect Pro Dry is the first dynamic single rope with a sheath that includes aramid yarns, for huge improvements is sharp-edge resistance.

The Pro Dry finish means the rope is permanently water and dirt repellent. The Thermo Shield treatment gives the rope great handling, perfect for ambitious climbers who want to use their rope singly or as twin or half rope. 

Thanks to the 3D lap-coiling technique, the rope can be simply pulled out of the packaging and used directly.

Despite reinforcement with aramid and the overall higher sheath content, the impact force remains within the required standard. These characteristics make the Swift Protect Pro Dry the ideal lead rope and for mountain or alpine ascents, particularly on rough rock types such as granite or limestone.
